Information about Ear Infection

Ear infections are often accompanied by a cold, congestion, or teething.

If your baby rubs her ear, does not seem to hear well, has drainage coming from her canal, is irritable, is in pain, or is crying excessively, call your doctor.

Carry out your doctor’s recommended treatment.

Hold your baby upright while breastfeeding.

If your baby has recurring ear infections, your doctor may recommend ear tubes to help with drainage or ventilation.
